The household survey counts Mauritians in private households of the islands of Mauritius and Rodrigues; foreign workers are not included. Its figures are sample estimates: the releases publish their standard errors.
Definitions and scope A quarter is not a year. Quarterly figures are separate measures, compared only with the same quarter a year earlier. The release prints its rates for the latest quarter only.
