The weights of one base, per 1,000 of spending, or as a share of the whole basket. Each basket comes from the household budget survey of its base period.

- Coverage 1963Republic of Mauritius. The CPI measures prices of goods and services acquired by private households; the July 2024 methodology gives its scope as all private households of the Republic, and prices of non-perishable items are collected monthly in the nine districts of the island of Mauritius and in Rodrigues. These files restate the scope only for the current basket; the earlier bases are the same national series and are loaded at the same scope, which is an inference. Never compared with, or divided by, a figure for the island alone.
