• Coverage 1991Large establishments only (employing 10 or more persons: sugar cane plantations of 10 hectares or more, tea plantations of 2 hectares or more, other establishments employing at least 10 persons, and all central, regional and local government departments), as at March of each year. Tables 2.1(b) and 2.1(c) state that foreign workers and Rodrigues are included from 1991; the later tables do not restate it. Industries are classified by ISIC Rev. 2 for 1991-1999, by the National Standard Industrial Classification for 2000-2006 and by NSIC Rev. 2 for 2007-2025: three different lists, never joined industry by industry.
