- Definition change 1990From 1990 the figures are the resident (de jure) population, and 1972-1989 the de facto population (those present, including temporary visitors and excluding residents temporarily absent). The date of the change is stated by the metadata of the OpenData portal's older copy of this series, not by the publisher's current workbook, whose Explanations sheet defines both terms without dating the switch. A change across 1990 is partly a change of definition.

- Revision 2012Figures for 2012 to 2023 have been revised on the 2022 Population Census; they are loaded as revised. The OpenData portal's older copy of this series is 4,280 (2012) to 10,451 (2021) persons higher for those years and is not used.
